Community Smiles provides patient education and oral health screenings to over 4,000 community members annually. At various outreach events, such as the Miami Police Department’s Safe Summer events, Easter Seals Head Start Centers, University Of Miami Medical School, and many more local health fairs our volunteer dentists speak with families about accessing oral health services in Miami-Dade and provide oral health screenings free-of-charge.

We also provide educational brochures on a variety of oral health topics, such as; healthy eating, proper brushing habits, and prevention of gum disease, to patients in our dental clinic and at health outreach events.

Community Smiles provides the clinical training and rotation for LHTEC’s ADA.

Continuing Education for Professionals

Community Smiles is recognized by the ADA, FDA as an approved provider.
